"I've been with Doug's State Farm team for over a decade; I originally switched to State Farm because a friend of mine worked for Doug and she helped me to get a great rate... She left his firm years ago, but to my surprise, *everyone* there acts like a friend! They are always patient and friendly, and will "sit down" on a phone call or email exchange to really answer my questions and explain things to me. Doug's team has a real small-business feel, you never ever feel like the customer service has been outsourced. They even send holiday cards <3 I am writing this 5-star review the day after my insurance plan had a big cost increase due to new California liability requirements. I know why the increase happened because I emailed Doug's office about it and they sent me a wonderfully thorough analysis of every factor that contributed to the increase, plus they conducted a review of my plan to make sure that I was still getting every eligible discount and this was the best rate for me. This is my third auto insurance agency (and my first bundle with renters insurance) and the other agencies didn't come close in cost or service. I know that car insurance was more costly when I was younger, but for me AND my partner to both have auto insurance AND renters insurance, AND with inflation, I am paying HALF of what I used to pay for auto insurance alone... and that it AFTER the liability increase."
